Spring 2015 Dianna J. Pelletier Scholarship Winner!

Hey Coyotes!

Congratulations to our newest $500 Dianna Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship winner, Anthony Aguayo!

Anthony was on academic probation during the spring 2015 term.  Anthony earned a 3.80 spring term GPA to not only bounce back from his probation, but also made the Dean's List!


"Being placed on a probationary period has driven me to work harder and focus more on my education. I now have a work ethic that will cause me to reach the academic heights that were once unattainable."

Since September 2001, Dr. Doueiri has been making an impact on students by providing not only instruction, but mentorship and advising.  He is well known by students as “Dr. Dany,” or as he would prefer “Dany.”

Winter 2015 Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship Winners!

Hey Coyotes!

Congratulations to Ruben Suarez and Elena Jacobo, our newest Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship Winners!

Dianna Pelletier had a tremendous love for students and a strong desire to see them succeed.  The Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship was created to provide a financial incentive to CSUSB undergraduate students placed on academic probation.

Ruben is a Administration major with a concentration in Accounting. Ruben earned a 3.20 Winter term grade point average.



Ruben Suarez - "Taking the proper steps to get where I am today was tough and it isn't over yet, but it's a start. I plan to excel in the rest of my studies not matter how much hard work, studying, and long nights that it takes."

Elena is a transfer student majoring in Sociology.  Elena's Winter grade point average was 3.46.


Elena Jacobo - "Knowing that the university offers a lot of academic help for everyone I have been able to take advantage of it now and people help me out with a smile on their faces."

Agent of Change

Received an e-mail or heard from a friend about something called Agent of Change?  Agent of Change is a mandatory online training that all CSUSB students must complete.  The training is an interactive violence prevention program.

To avoid a registration hold, please make sure to complete the online training as soon as possible!

CSUSB Summer Sessions!

Hey Coyotes!

We are currently in open enrollment for the spring 2015 quarter.  Have you registered yet?

Even though spring quarter has not started, it's never too early to start planning for future terms. Have you considered taking courses during summer?

By attending the CSUSB summer session, students can take advantage of many key benefits and get ahead F.A.S.T.


Financial AidAdditional financial aid is available to qualifying students.


Access to High-Demand CoursesStudents can take the courses they need to get ahead or to stay on track for graduation. The preliminary schedule of classes is online.

Saving Tuition- When taking 4 or 8 units, the tuition will be lower than during the academic year.


Timely Graduation- By taking advantage of summer session, students will move forward faster to their graduation goals!

Flat Stanley arrives at CSU, San Bernardino!


Hey Coyotes!

The Admissions and Student Recruitment Office received a letter from Jediah, a kindergartner from Indian Creek Elementary School in San Antonio, Texas.  

The Admissions staff asked Advising and Academic Services' academic advisors, Star and Matt to take a photo with Flat Stanley! 


According to the letter received below, we will be able to help Jediah's class learn about California and of course, California State University, San Bernardino!

Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship Winners!

Hey Coyotes!

Please give it up for our newest Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship Winners, Marina Ibrahim and Nicole Sweeney!!!!  Congratulations!!!  Both are recipients of a $500 academic scholarship!

The Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship was created for students on academic probation who overcame their obstacles and are now back on track.  


Marina is a psychology major who earned a 3.66 GPA during the Fall 2014 quarter. 


Nicole, also a psychology major earned a 3.80 GPA for the Fall 2014 term. 

The Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship is given by the staff of Advising and Academic Services.  This scholarship is named after Dianna Pelletier, who served CSUSB for over 40 years. For more information, please click here, http://www.ugs.csusb.edu/advising/acadresfund.html.
