Coyote Advising!

Hey Coyotes!

Today, November 3rd begins priority registration for the Winter 2015 quarter!  Registration dates are already posted on your MyCoyote accounts.

Make sure to clear any holds and meet with your advisor before registering.  Not sure who your advisor is?  Click the Who is My Advisor link.

Last week, our office, in collaboration with other departments on campus, set up information tables around campus for our quarterly Coyote Advising Week!

New Staff Advisors!

Hey Coyotes!

The Advising and Academic Services Office is pleased to announce our two new staff advisors, Evelyn Knox and Star Kafovalu-Wildes!


Evelyn has an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from San Bernardino Valley College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from CSUSB, and a Master of Science degree in Counseling & Guidance from CSUSB.  In the past three years, Evelyn has worked as an Area Coordinator of Residential Education for the CSUSB Office of Housing and Residence Life.  Previously, she served as the Director of Peer Advising for the Liberal Studies department at CSUSB.  In her new role, Evelyn will be responsible for coordinating Peer Advising and related programs as well as providing direct advising services.


Star has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from CSUSB.  She will be taking the comprehensive exam to obtain her Master of Public Administration degree at CSUSB.   In the past year, Star has worked as the Office Manager for the Office of Student Conduct and Ethical Development at CSUSB.  Previously, she served as the Program Administrative Coordinator for the Student Assistance In Learning (SAIL) Program at CSUSB.  Star has taught a University Studies 100 Freshman Seminar every fall quarter since 2010.


Welcome Evelyn and Star!  They are both here to serve you, the students of CSU, San Bernardino!

CSUSB Dianna Pelletier Scholarship Winners!

Congratulations to our Spring 2014 Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship winners!

Jajaza Weatherspoon Freeman and Tereyn Santa Cruz were on academic probation and proved themselves resilient to overcome their challenges!  Each student receives a $500 scholarship!  Congratulations!

*The Dianna J. Spring Quarter Important Dates

Welcome to the first week of Spring Quarter!!!  We hope you are enjoying your classes!  As we do every quarter, below are important dates to remember for April & May:

APRIL
04-01: Spring Regular classes begin

04-01: Winter Grades available over MyCoyote

04-07: Last day to add open classes for Spring quarter over MyCoyote

04-21: CENSUS; Last day to add or drop w/o record of enrollment (no W grade)

04-28: Summer Advising begins

MAY

05-01: Grad Check Deadline for Winter (Mar) 2015

05-05 - 05-21: Summer Priority Registration takes place

05-12: Fall Advising begins

05-22 - 06-08: Summer Open Enrollment (pre-payment of fees is required)

05-22 - 06-13: Fall Priority Registration takes place

05-23: Last day to submit Petition to Drop after Census for the Spring 2014 term

05-26: Memorial Day Holiday; Campus Closed

Coyote Chronicle Article

Hey Coyotes!

Have you checked out the latest edition of CSUSB's Coyote Chronicle?  On the front page, find an article about our most recent Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship winners, Wesley House and Jeannette Jacques! 

Both Wesley and Jeannette were on academic probation with the university, but raised their GPA's that not only did they both get off probation after the Fall 2013 term, but also made the Dean's List!

Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship Winners!

Hey Coyotes! 

We hope the Winter 2014 quarter is off to a great start!  We want to congratulate our two newest Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship winners, Jeannette Jacques and Wesley House!

The first day of Winter 2014 regular classes begins today, January 6th!  Below you will find important dates during the quarter:

JANUARY

01-02: Grad Check Deadline for Summer (Sept) 2014
01-03: Winter Refund Deadline
01-04: First Day of Winter Saturday classes
01-06: First Day of Winter Regular classes
01-10: Last day to add open classes over MyCoyote
01-20: Martin Luther King Jr Holiday; Campus Closed
01-27: CENSUS; Last day to add or drop classes w/o record of enrollment (no W grade)


FEBRUARY

02-03: Grad Check Deadline for Fall (Dec) 2014.
02-03: Spring Advising Begins
02-10 - 03-03: Spring Priority Registration takes place

MARCH

03-03: Last day to submit Petition to Drop after Census for the Winter 2014 term
03-04 - 03-16: Spring Open Enrollment (pre-payment of fees is required)
03-15: Last day of Winter Saturday classes
03-17 - 04-07: Spring Late Registration ($25.00 late fee applies and pre-payment is required)
