The Importance of Balance

As you register for your Spring 2013 courses please remember the importance of balance. Getting the courses you need to graduate is indeed important, but please keep in mind that your GPA is important too. Ask yourself if you are taking on too much in light of your past performance or your current work hours. It is imperative that you understand your life does not consist of school alone while you are registering for your classes.
Ensure that you are also considering balance between the courses themselves. If you are not strong in Math or Science it may not be the best idea to register for both during the same quarter. Give yourself some breathing room by registering for one challenging course and one course in an area you know you are strong in. This will ensure that your GPA does not suffer drastically if you struggle with one course.
Although these tips seem small they can be extremely effective in helping you to maintain a strong GPA and peace of mind throughout the quarter.
Wishing you all the best Coyotes!
