NOVEMBER

11-27 - 12-08: Winter 2014 Open Enrollment (pre-payment of fees is required)
11-28 - 12-01: Thanksgiving Holiday; Campus Closed


DECEMBER

12-02: Last day of Fall regular classes
12-06: Winter 2014 Fees due
12-03 - 12-07: Fall Finals Week
12-07: Fall Commencement
12-09 - 01-10-14: Winter 2014 Late Registration ($25.00 late fee and pre-payment of fees is required)
12-16: Fall grades available via MyCoyote
12-23 - 01-01-14: Christmas and Winter Break; Campus Closed

Coyote Advising Week!

Hey Coyotes!

Coyote Advising Week begins Monday, October 28th!  Fall quarter isn't over yet and it's already time to start thinking about Winter 2014! 

Now is the time to sign in to your MyCoyote account to check your Winter registration date and clear any holds. 

Do you have a hold for advising?  Not sure what classes to take next quarter?  Check out the "Who is My Advisor" link, http://advising.csusb.edu/myadvisor.html.  Here you can find out the location and phone number of your major. 

Again, advising for Winter 2014 begins on October 28th!  Priority registration for Winter quarter begins November 4th!

Summer 2013 Finals & Campus Closed

Are you enrolled in Summer classes at CSUSB?  Here's an update on your finals...

Summer Session Regular Finals:

Thursday August 29th & Tuesday September 3rd

Summer Session 6W2 Finals:

Wednesday September 4th & Thursday September 5th

Also, the CSUSB campus will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day.

Dianna J. Pelletier Scholarship Winners!

Hey Coyotes!

Congratulations to  

Yolanda Covarrubias

 Ashley Woods!

Yolanda and Ashley are both winners of the Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship!

The Dianna J. Pelletier Resiliency Scholarship has been created to provide a financial incentive to CSUSB undergraduate students who have been placed on academic probation or subject to disqualification from the university.  Qualifying students will receive awards ranging from $200 to $1000.

*Taking Summer classes?   The last day to submit Petition to Drop forms for 6W2 classes is this Thursday, August 22nd.

Summer Session 6W2 Census date is this Wednesday, August 7th! This is the last day to submit add/drop slips to the Records, Registration & Evaluations Office.

Summer Session

Hey Coyotes!

If you are taking classes during the next Summer session, please note that classes begin Tuesday, July 30th! 

If you are finishing up the 1st Summer Session, grades will be available on MyCoyote on August 5th. 

As a reminder, the campus is open Monday-Thursday during the Summer.  The campus is closed on Fridays.

Summer Financial Aid

Hey Coyotes!

Questions on Summer financial aid?  Check out the info below:

All continuing and Fall 2013 admitted students may be eligible for summer financial aid. This does not apply for students in the Early Start Program.

To be considered for summer aid you must meet the following:

•Be regularly admitted to CSUSB in an eligible degree program during the summer and enrolled at least half time.

•Have a 2012-2013 FAFSA Application on file. Deadline to submit a FAFSA application is June 30, 2013.

Eligibility

•Summer aid awards are based on 2012-2013 remaining academic year eligibility and initial enrollment in the total number of units from all sessions.

•Classified Credential students must be enrolled in at least 6 units of Pell eligible teaching credential courses to be considered for a Federal Pell Grant.

•Graduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 unit's graduate level course work.

•Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).

Summer Aid Award Processes

•The awarding process will begin after you have enrolled in summer courses. The Financial Aid Office will determine if a student is eligible for summer aid.

•Notification of eligibility will be sent by email and your award can be viewed via your MyCoyote.

•If your enrollment changes for summer after you are awarded aid, you are responsible for notifying the Financial Aid Office immediately by completing a Change of Status Form.

•Enrollment changes in summer units may result in adjustment and/or cancelation of your award. You may be required to repay any funds previously received.
