VIDs - VERY IMPORTANT DATES Fall 2011

Sept 22 - Oct 12    FIRST three weeks of classes
  • CLOSED classes require the signatures of the instructor, dept chair (of the class) and the college dean (of the class)
  • Dropping classes can be done over MyCoyote
  • If withdrawing from ALL classes (0 units), must go to the Records Office to complete a term withdrawal process.

Sept 22 - 28        1st week of classes:  OPEN classes may be added over MyCoyote
Sept 29 - Oct 5    2nd week of classes:  OPEN classes require the signature of the instructor
Oct 6 - 12            3rd week of classes:  OPEN classes require the signatures of the instructor and dept chair (of the class)

Oct 12    Census Date

Oct 24     Winter Advising Begins
Oct 31     Winter Priority Registration Begins
Nov 1      Grad Check Deadline for June 2012 Graduation
Nov 17    Last day to submit Fall Petitions to Drop with documentation
Dec 3      Last day of Saturday classes
Dec 5     Last day of Regular classes
Dec 6 - 10    Finals Week

For those of you needing Fall 2011 General Education classes or know of someone who does, there are still plenty of sections and seats open.  The list below is as of 11am, Tuesday, September 20, 2011.   

I’m only listing GE with 5 or more open seats because they change fast.
